Administrative Assistant
$18 - $20 per hourTroon Golf
Woodholme Country Club, located in Pikesville, MD, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Administrative Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour General Purpose: Performs secretarial and administrative duties in association with and as directed by the Department Manager. Essential Duties:- Performs various secretarial duties for the department manager such as filing, answering phones and taking messages, and with other similar tasks.
- Performs clerical duties that may include typing, copying, composing routine correspondence and taking minutes at meetings.
- Distributes daily mail and maintains filing system.
- Answers telephone and assist the general public with information about the department and/or facility.
- Prepares summaries and reports.
- Completes special projects and related duties as assigned by the department manager.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
- Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel helpful.
- Exceptional organizations skills; maintains accuracy and neatness; ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to compose letters and to facilitate phone calls and general inquiries sensibly.
