Physician / Provider Credentialing

Location: Dallas, TX Job Id: 291 # of Openings: 1 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Physician / Provider Credentialing Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the credentialing process for physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and payer standards. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for physicians and healthcare providers. Verify provider qualifications, including education, licensure, certifications, work history, and malpractice insurance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing files and databases. Communicate with providers, hospitals, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Prepare and submit credentialing applications to insurance panels, hospitals, and other entities. Track expiration dates and initiate re-credentialing processes in a timely manner. Assist with audits and respond to credentialing inquiries as needed. Collaborate with internal departments to support provider onboarding and network participation. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in provider credentialing or related healthcare administrative role. Knowledge of credentialing processes, NCQA, URAC, and payer requirements. Familiarity with credentialing software and databases. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
