Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial interviews and comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs of clients, establishing a foundation for personalized treatment plans.

• Implement ongoing evaluations, synthesizing bio-psychosocial information from clients, their families, peer referrals, and community resources to adjust therapy approaches as necessary.

• Display a thorough understanding of current standards of practice in chemical dependency treatment, ensuring all counseling methodologies are evidence-based and culturally sensitive.

• Utilize recognized treatment modalities to assist clients in overcoming addiction and related mental health challenges, providing skills for long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Services, Behavioral Sciences, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and appropriate registration or licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• Two years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health or substance use treatment context.

• A strong commitment to confidentiality as it pertains to client and employee information.

• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
