Field Service Technician - Level 2

Job Description Summary Road Mechanic needed to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment, primarily Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialized equipment such as large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related machinery. The role requires working in remote locations and maintaining a safe, efficient operation. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues. Maintain detailed service records. Work safely with heavy equipment in indoor/outdoor environments. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Assist with training and mentorship of less‑experienced technicians. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired. 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas). Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required in some locations. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals. Ability to remain flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location. Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 lbs or more; work indoors/outdoors as required. Physical Demands The position requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 lbs or more, and working both indoors and outdoors as required.
