Full-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist Position

Join Connected Health Care to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages under physician direction in a supportive, patient-focused hospital environment in Wooster, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as ordered by physicians or approved practitioners.
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Respond to emergency situations and actively participate in emergency drills.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Support and involve primary support persons or family members in patient care when appropriate.
• Ensure all respiratory care services are delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism, clinical competency, and commitment to organizational values.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Ohio.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification.

Preferred Skills:

• 1-3 years of respiratory therapy experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
