Overview AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure customers have continuous access. The Global Network Delivery organization seeks a highly motivated, best‑in‑class Network Deployment Planner to join our Planning and Implementation team. Responsibilities include scoping and planning interdependent capacity‑scaling projects and new network deployments across several data‑center locations, reviewing forecasts, ensuring infrastructure resources are available, and coordinating delivery to local installation technicians. Key Responsibilities Ensure adherence to timelines. Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. Work closely with Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain & Procurement, Network Engineers, and Technical Project Managers to ensure fast, smooth delivery of on‑demand customer capacity. Maintain knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and cable infrastructure best practices. Apply strong prioritization and time‑management skills to handle fluctuating needs. Coordinate design, project timeline/schedule, and construction milestones. Employ core project‑management disciplines: scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management. Be well organized and able to work effectively under time pressure. Basic Qualifications Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers. Experience in project management. At least 1 year of relevant discipline work experience. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of data‑center, critical‑environment, computer‑hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data‑center operations experience. Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system. Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure. Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
