Work Environment

This position is based in a home care setting, allowing you to provide compassionate, personalized care directly to patients in their homes. Our supportive team atmosphere encourages collaboration among physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare practitioners to optimize treatment outcomes. Our schedule runs from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient needs, utilizing clinical expertise to determine personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities aimed at alleviating pain and restoring mobility.
• Deliver post-surgical rehabilitation focusing on the recovery of motion and strength, while educating patients on pain management strategies.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers, including orthopedic surgeons and physicians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.
• Guide patients through educational materials and home exercise programs, ensuring they understand techniques to prevent further injuries and enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress as per regulatory standards and best practices.
• Stay informed of the latest treatments, advancements, and trends in physical therapy to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, and fractures. Additionally, you will work with individuals suffering from chronic pain, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions, tailoring interventions to their specific needs to ensure a supportive recovery process.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid and active California Physical Therapist license.
• Strong foundational skills in manual therapy and evidence-based treatment modalities are essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, specifically focusing on musculoskeletal conditions, is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required for patient safety.

Compensation and Benefits
