Data Entry Clerk

Sirius Staffing is seeking a data entry clerk for a 12-month contract in Jackson, MS. This position is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information within company databases and systems while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of business records. The ideal candidate has strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies in a fast-paced office environment.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay: $18.13 to $20.14/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain data in company databases and information systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review, validate, and verify data for completeness and consistency.
• Identify, research, and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Maintain data quality standards and ensure the integrity of company records.
• Generate reports and assist with data analysis, audits, and record verification.
• Organize, maintain, and retrieve electronic records and documentation as needed.
• Recommend process improvements to increase data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate information updates.
• Perform additional administrative and data management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 46 years of data entry, administrative, or office support experience.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with ERP systems, database management, or document management software.
• Experience performing data validation, reporting, and audit support.
