Social Services Director

We are seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Social Services Director to lead our social services team and support residents in a long term care facility. This role is responsible for program oversight, staff leadership, compliance, and building positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, development, and ongoing improvement of social service programs for residents.
• Lead, coach, and supervise social work staff and program coordinators to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Manage program budgets, allocate resources effectively, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
• Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations related to behavioral health and social services.
• Coordinate and support staff training on behavioral health strategies, behavioral management, and best practices.
• Monitor program performance using data, client feedback, and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work or Psychology.
• Strong background in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, families, and community partners.
• Proven administrative skills, including budgeting, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and mentor diverse teams.
• Previous leadership experience in social services, behavioral health, or related fields in a Long Term Care Setting.
