CNC Machinist in Exton, PA up to $30/hr

SCHEDULE: 7am-330pm, Mon- Fri

PAY RATE: up to $30/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:
• Design and fabrication of a wide variety of tools and fixtures that are used in the manufacture of various component parts and assemblies.
• Work from verbal instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Use independent judgment and high technical skill, plus a good knowledge of shop mathematics and practices.
• Lay out work using knowledge of parts, engineering practices, and design.
• Designs should be such that parts can be produced practically and economically.
• Use all tooling and measuring equipment necessary.
• Set up and operate a variety of CNC equipment performing various procedures on first and subsequent operations.
• Render technical assistance to manufacturing personnel as required.
• Consult with engineering, manufacturing and other personnel in the solution of mutual problems,
• Assist, direct and instruct other departmental personnel as directed by supervisor.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Seven (7) years of experience as a CNC machinist or certification from a state approved technical program for CNC machining.
• Experience with ISO 9000.
• Programming experience with Gibbs CAM a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical data with colleagues
• Must be able to lift up to 50#
• Must pass eye exam.
• Must be able to read micrometers and other measuring devices
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend or stretch in keeping with the demands of a typical tradesman role.
• Must be able to manipulate small delicate parts as well as larger, heavier stock and components.
