This position involves providing high-quality, competent clinical nursing care within a hospital setting, specifically supporting labor and delivery procedures. The role requires coordination and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process, with a focus on complex obstetric cases, including circulating for C-sections and OB triage. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school; current and active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA or ARC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); at least 1 year of nursing experience, with specific skills in circulating for C-sections and OB triage. Additional Information: Must have previous labor and delivery operating room experience; able to circulate for C-sections; able to triage for obstetrics; current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification through AWHONN or GE completed within the last 48 hours; must be able to perform bedside point of care testing as needed for patient care.
