You will also play a role in overseeing competitive intelligence projects to identify alternate supply chain operating models and benchmark competitors' operations against Walmart. About the team: Our team drives the future of Walmart’s e-commerce fulfillment and supply chain strategy through advanced network design, optimization modeling, and cross-functional decision support. We develop network strategies aligned with our Customer Value Proposition targets and collaborate closely with partners in Operations, Engineering, Transportation, and Finance to guide long-term network decisions and capital investments. Utilizing Data Science, Operations Research, and AI, we optimize capital allocation, fulfillment efficiency, delivery economics, and overall customer experience. What you'll do:Develop the requirements, gather the necessary inputs, and oversee the development of data science-driven optimization models to drive optimal fulfillment and last mile delivery, primarily within Walmart's Fulfillment Center and X-Depot network.Leverage advanced Excel skills and AI tools to quickly generate insights and identify scenarios for deeper modeling.
