CAD Expert for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply hands-on CAD and manufacturing expertise to improve next-generation AI systems through detailed, real-world feedback. This coding-intensive contract role focuses on assessing manufacturing workflows and helping evaluate the accuracy, efficiency, and usefulness of AI-generated outputs. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert feedback on manufacturing processes and techniques, particularly CAD, CAM, and CNC workflows.
• Review, assess, and refine AI-generated content and recommendations related to manufacturing workflows.
• Develop and validate detailed rubrics for evaluating manufacturing-process accuracy and efficiency.
• Use coding agents and Python as part of the workflow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with a CAD platform such as Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, CATIA, Creo, or FreeCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and attention to detail.
• Experience with Autodesk tools, especially Fusion 360 or AutoCAD, is preferred.
• Experience using coding agents and Python is required.
• Background in CAM, CNC machining, or digital manufacturing workflows is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including LLMs, generative design, or AI-assisted workflows, and comfort evaluating AI output are preferred.
• Experience developing or applying process-evaluation rubrics is preferred.

Work Terms

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Fully remote and open to candidates worldwide.
• Expected commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week.
• Hours are fully flexible and can accommodate evenings and weekends.
• Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications. Completion time varies by experience and workflow.
• A minimum weekly task-submission requirement applies.

Compensation

$80 to $150 per hour.
