Accountant – CPA or Candidate Preferred Location: Cranford, NJ (In-office and Hybrid opportunities) Benefits Bonus based on performance Company parties Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Training & development Responsibilities Updating clients' QuickBooks Online accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate categorization and reconciliation. Skillfully preparing both business and individual income tax returns, supporting clients in their tax compliance. Providing cross-staff support, collaborating with colleagues to deliver seamless service and exceptional client experiences. Qualifications Previous experience in accounting or related fields, showcasing a solid foundation in financial management. A proven track record of 3‑5 years in tax preparation, demonstrating expertise in tax regulations and compliance. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must, while experience with Proseries is a definite plus. Familiarity with basic Microsoft Excel functions and general Office 365 skills to ensure efficient work processes. A detail‑oriented mindset and ability to meet deadlines, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
