Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Escalation in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and patients. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a healthcare-related manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts. Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal supervision and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
