Facilities TechnicianBuilding Systems Maintenance | Manufacturing FacilityWe’re looking for an experienced Facilities Technician who enjoys keeping buildings, equipment, and essential systems operating safely and reliably.This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment where you’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot facility systems, complete minor repairs, and respond to building maintenance needs. You’ll work with systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, refrigeration, water purification, air filtration, and wastewater treatment.Just as important, we’re looking for someone who can manage competing priorities, document work accurately, communicate effectively, and take ownership of assignments through completion.What You’ll DoMaintain facility systems, including heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, water purification, air filtration, and electrical systemsPerform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment, building systems, and infrastructureTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other facility-related issuesMaintain wastewater treatment and water-recycling systems serving restroom facilities throughout the buildingComplete assigned work orders accurately and within established deadlinesDocument completed work, provide daily progress updates, and maintain the status of work-in-process projectsReview, update, and recommend corrections to facility maintenance procedures and standard operating proceduresAssist engineers with the evaluation of new facility equipment and technologiesFollow applicable building, environmental, industrial equipment, and regulatory requirementsUse amp meters, digital multimeters, power tools, and other tools and equipment necessary to diagnose and complete maintenance workSupport Company safety programs, 6S initiatives, ISO procedures, and other established operating requirementsOccasionally respond to on-call maintenance needs outside of regular working hoursWhat Sets You ApartYou take pride in keeping building systems safe, functional, and reliableYou’re comfortable troubleshooting problems across multiple facility systemsYou understand the importance of preventive maintenance and addressing problems before they disrupt operationsYou can independently organize your workload while responding to changing prioritiesYou document your work clearly and keep others informed about progress and outstanding needsYou work safely and follow established procedures, regulatory requirements, and technical standardsYou take ownership of assignments and follow them through to completionYou communicate professionally with employees, contractors, engineers, and other partners throughout the organizationWhy Join Us?You’ll play an important role in maintaining the systems and infrastructure that support our employees and manufacturing operations.
