Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established guidelines.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory devices.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document each procedure, provide training to new staff or students, and ensure laboratory quality standards are consistently met.
• Foster a clean, safe work environment while adhering to governing regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be obtained within one year post-hire.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of employment.
