About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Residential Retrofit Solar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the growth and expansion of the residential retrofit solar dealer channel. This includes identifying, recruiting, activating, and developing high-value residential solar dealer organizations. The role also involves leveraging existing industry relationships to establish new dealer partnerships and generate measurable revenue, as well as expanding the business into new geographic markets and residential solar opportunities. The VP of Sales will be expected to build and maintain executive-level relationships with key industry stakeholders and to serve as the internal executive voice of the dealer network. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' progressive leadership experience in residential retrofit solar, with a proven track record of developing and scaling dealer, channel, or distributed residential solar sales organizations. Deep, established relationships within the residential solar dealer ecosystem are essential, as is the ability to convert these relationships into productive dealer partnerships. The role requires a strong understanding of residential solar dealer economics, financing, and the full project lifecycle, as well as experience in negotiating with senior executives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, be willing to travel regularly, and possess strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
