Sales Director

Sales Director, Retail Media Tech (NYC) | $125K base, $250K OTE A fast-growing, in-store first Retail Media Network is hiring its first Sales Director for North America. This is a newly created, high-visibility role reporting into the Partnership Director, with a clear path to build and lead a team as revenue scales. You'll be joining at ground level on one of the most exciting propositions in retail media right now, with the autonomy to shape how the business goes to market with agencies and brands across the US. What you'll be doing: Building and owning relationships with key NA media agencies and brand-direct clients, educating them on the value of investing in retail media Opening up new sources of investment beyond traditional trade budgets, across CPG, Tech, Travel, Entertainment, Finance and other non-endemic categories Constructing and negotiating commercial deals, including agency T&Cs, trade agreements and JBPs Owning P&L for your patch: forecasting, budgeting, and reporting into leadership Acting as a trusted advisor to the retail partner and a key voice within the wider RMN team What we're looking for: Strong existing relationships across the media agency landscape, plus a track record of client-facing sales success Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem. DOOH experience is a big plus Comfortable with ambiguity: this is a build phase, not a finished playbook A self-starter who wants to get out and meet people in person, not sit behind a desk Prior experience in retail media, DOOH, or a related media network is ideal but not essential On offer: Competitive base plus uncapped commission structure, no threshold to hit before you get paid The chance to shape a category-defining role from the ground up A close-knit, high-energy team culture Based in NYC (hybrid), with travel expected.
