Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics (Labor & Delivery) Location Worcester, Massachusetts Shift & Schedule 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts) Employment Type Staff Job Description & Responsibilities Provide direct clinical patient care in Labor & Delivery. Assess, plan, and implement clinical care for assigned patients on a per‑shift basis. Coordinate unit‑level patient care and integrate the nursing process. Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care responsibilities. Ensure high‑quality, safe, and cost‑effective nursing care in accordance with safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control standards. Plan and coordinate patient care within the prescribed medical regime. Perform all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities and assignments during emergencies or disasters. Know and respond to the Hospital’s emergency codes and follow the related policies. Perform related duties as required by the facility. Required Qualifications Graduated from a state‑approved or accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice nursing in the state. Certifications required: CPR.
