Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver personalized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in achieving stress reduction, relaxation, and improved overall mental health.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify each client’s unique stressors and therapeutic goals, enabling the personalization of mindfulness practices.
\n
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques designed to promote self-awareness, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and strategies for building resilience, enhancing community connections among participants.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques within individual therapy sessions to effectively address specific mental health issues facing clients.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to incorporate mindfulness techniques into an integrated treatment plan that covers various aspects of clients’ well-being.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions applied, and individualized treatment plans in accordance with professional standards and regulations.

• Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development through workshops and training to enhance skills in MBSR.

Your practice will focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and those seeking personal growth through mindful living. You will engage clients in a supportive manner that respects their unique backgrounds and fosters an environment for honest dialogue and progress.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland is essential for this role.

• A foundational understanding of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proven ability to integrate mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions and experience in creating a therapeutic space that encourages open communication.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to foster a supportive and calming therapeutic relationship with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, starting at USD 90,000 and going up to USD 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
