Account Manager, Molecular Diagnostics, QIAstat (Midwest)

QIAGEN seeks an Account Manager for molecular diagnostics to drive sales of QIAstat-Dx syndromic testing systems across the Midwest. The role involves building relationships with healthcare institutions and laboratories, delivering product demonstrations, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue for QIAstat-Dx systems and consumables
• Identify and engage key stakeholders including hospital administrators, laboratory managers, and clinicians
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on training to prospective customers
• Collaborate with marketing and technical support teams to support product adoption and customer success
• Manage sales pipeline, track opportunities, and report progress via SFDC

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of diagnostic sales experience with hospital lab equipment or capital instruments
• Proven record of exceeding sales targets and earning President's Club or equivalent recognition
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Ability to travel as needed within assigned territory (Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin)
• Experience selling molecular diagnostic instruments in clinical laboratory settings (preferred)
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostic technologies, PCR, and syndromic testing (preferred)

Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 base
