• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ histories of substance abuse and mental health challenges, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders using evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating methodologies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to empower clients toward recovery.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment strategy, ensuring all aspects of the client's well-being are addressed.

• Provide psychoeducation and guidance to families of clients, promoting their involvement and understanding of the recovery process to strengthen support systems.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards while ensuring continuity of care.

As a mental health counselor within our team, you will primarily support individuals recovering from substance abuse disorders. This includes working with diverse populations, including adults facing challenges like PTSD, anxiety, and depression as they relate to their addiction. Your role is crucial in providing the knowledge, skills, and support needed to facilitate lasting change in their lives.

• Possession of a valid and current license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline.

• A strong foundation in addiction counseling demonstrated through specialized training or relevant hands-on experience.

• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and associated mental health disorders.
