Role Description This is a full-time, Workers Compensation Paralegal role based in Denver, CO. The paralegal will support attorneys handling Colorado workers’ compensation claims by preparing and organizing legal documents, filing pleadings, and managing case files. Daily responsibilities include conducting factual and legal research, reviewing medical records and claim documents, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel. The role involves drafting correspondence and routine motions, maintaining accurate case notes and calendars, and assisting with hearing preparation, including exhibits and witness lists. The paralegal will also help ensure clients are informed about case progress and that all tasks are completed in compliance with applicable rules and procedures. Qualifications Strong foundation in workers’ compensation and personal injury law , with the ability to understand statutes, rules, and procedural requirements. Proficiency in legal document preparation , including drafting pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests, and settlement documents. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, medical providers, insurers, and court personnel in a clear and professional manner. Solid research abilities to investigate facts, review medical and employment records, and locate relevant legal authorities and regulations. Attention to detail in document review , including analyzing claim files, medical records, and legal documents for accuracy and completeness. Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in workers’ compensation or personal injury law preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
