Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Highland Rivers, you will:

• Provide individualized therapy tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them explore and understand their emotional and behavioral challenges while developing personalized coping strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to create actionable and goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their aspirations and needs.

• Monitor and assess client progress utilizing various assessment tools, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Participate in multilateral teamwork by collaborating with other mental health professionals, ensuring comprehensive and effective care for clients through regular communication and case consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on supporting adolescents and young adults, ages 18 to 30, who are navigating various mental health challenges. At Highland Rivers, we tailor our outpatient programs, particularly Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), to meet the diverse needs of this demographic. Our goal is to empower clients to achieve lasting recovery through innovative and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• Possess a minimum of two years of professional experience working in mental health treatment settings focusing on youth and young adults.
