This role requires a minimum of two years of clinical experience. The position involves floating within a healthcare organization as needed. Some weekends and holidays will be required. The nurse will manage multiple patient cases and engage in telemetry monitoring. The candidate must demonstrate skills in IV management and starting IVs. They should also have experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases. In addition, candidates will be responsible for various clinical tasks, including hemodialysis management, wound care, and tracheostomy care. Strong teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams are essential. Candidates must be aware of compliance requirements related to credentialing and background checks. The role requires a compassionate approach to adult and geriatric patients.
