Work Environment\n

This full-time remote position combines the flexibility of telehealth services with the depth of in-person therapy, as needed. You will interact with clients through secure video calls and may carry out in-person sessions at our outpatient facility in Santa Barbara, ensuring that emotional support is accessible wherever our clients feel most comfortable. Regular team meetings and case consultations will be utilized to foster collaboration and professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to address a diverse range of emotional and behavioral concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and California state laws, ensuring that patient data integrity is upheld.

• Engage family members in the therapeutic process when appropriate to facilitate comprehensive treatment outcomes and enhance understanding among loved ones.

• Cultivate respectful and productive working relationships with fellow therapists, support staff, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Act swiftly in crisis moments, advocating for clients to resolve urgent issues and connect them to necessary resources, such as emergency services or community support.

• Participate actively in case consultations and regular team meetings aimed at sharing insights, discussing treatment plans, and supporting one another's growth and development.

• Effectively manage a diverse caseload, ensuring adequate session availability for each client to facilitate meaningful progress in therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience providing therapeutic services in a clinical or community setting.

Receptive Counseling LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
