Accounting Clerk

Location: Austin, TX (Full-time, Onsite) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant/Bookkeeperto support our finance and accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in accounting. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day financial tasks including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, and basic financial reporting. This position requires accuracy, organization, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Support payroll preparation and ensure timely submission of related documentation. Maintain accurate financial records and perform routine data entry. Reconcile bank statements and vendor invoices. Help prepare basic financial reports and summaries. Organize and maintain digital and physical financial files. Assist with expense tracking and categorization. Support the finance team with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects. Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to input and manage financial data. Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status and documentation. Qualifications Experience in bookkeeping or accounting support. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
