Revenue Cycle Specialist III

Abbott seeks a Revenue Cycle Specialist III to serve as a subject matter expert on order-to-cash processes. The role involves resolving revenue cycle issues, managing electronic medical record queues, and supporting cross-functional initiatives in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as process subject matter expert providing guidance on internal procedures and source documents
- Resolve revenue cycle issues, manage EMR system queues, and troubleshoot patient claims and appeals
- Support workflow management and team resource allocation in collaboration with leadership
- Participate in cross-departmental project initiatives and contribute to process improvement efforts
- Utilize Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to support team initiatives and leadership requests
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years contact center, data entry, or customer service experience
- 2+ years working with multiple computer systems including Microsoft Office, Excel, Epic, and Onbase
- 1+ years medical data entry experience with EMR systems
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terms
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and ability to navigate multiple workflow systems
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $20.50–$41.00/hour
