Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and thoughtful assessments to evaluate clients' specific eating disorder symptoms, co-occurring mental health conditions, and overall treatment needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and ACT during therapy sessions to help clients address unhealthy beliefs related to food, body image, and self-worth.

• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions that empower clients to build healthier coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation, and resist disordered eating behaviors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Virginia.
