Client designs, develops, manufactures and markets orthopedics products, including knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, foot and ankle artificial joints and dental prostheses. client has operations in more than 40 countries around the world Job Title: Sr. Accountant Duration: 6 Months Work Location: Englewood, CO 80112 Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Onsite Job Description Job Overview The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance team s mission to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate the decision-making of key internal and external stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Conduct month-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. Support the quarterly reviews and year-end audit with the independent auditors. Perform research and analytical review on significant transactions. Has a strong ability and interest to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide guidance on accounting-related matters. Ad-hoc accounting related projects. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance; master s in accounting/CPA preferred Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills Positive and helpful attitude, along with commitment to process improvements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Minimum 5-7 years experience in accounting roles Proficiency in large accounting software (SAP or similar ERP experience) and advanced MS Excel skills. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines.
