Flu shots are covered by insurance if the associate elects to go elsewhere.ResponsibilitiesProcess and recycle plant scrap material in an efficient mannerMaintain the cleanliness of the scrap areaEnsure recyclable material is sorted appropriately and report non-complianceOperate machinery in accordance with all safety regulationsWork in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to managementResponsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized per 6S standardsPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsMust be able to bend, lift, reach, and twist repetitivelyMust be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the course of the dayMust have good physical stamina and ability to handle hot/cold weatherMust speak English fluently and read basic instructions in English.Must be a motivated, self-starter with a sense of urgencyAble to work in a team setting as well as work independentlyMust be flexible with start and end times and work overtime when required.Must be 18 years or older.Compensation*This is a Union Position and Pays $18.00/HR Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on SaturdaysRTC is an equal-opportunity employer.
