Human Resources ManagerArrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a large manufacturing company find a Human Resources Manager in Jacksonville, IL.The Human Resources Manager serves as the strategic Human Resources business partner for an assigned manufacturing facility, aligning people strategies with operational and business objectives. The position leads employee relations, talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies. This role partners with plant and business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, employee engagement, retention, and performance. The position exercises independent judgment in addressing complex workforce matters, influences leaders across the organization, and drives Human Resources strategies that support a safe, inclusive, accountable, and high-performing culture.Human Resources Strategy & Business PartnershipPartner with plant and business leadership to develop and execute Human Resources strategies aligned with operational goals and business priorities.Lead Human Resources initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, employee engagement, retention, and operational performance.Serve as the primary Human Resources business partner for assigned manufacturing operations, providing strategic guidance on workforce priorities and organizational needs.Influence cross-functional business initiatives and enterprise Human Resources priorities to support evolving business objectives.Leadership & Talent DevelopmentCoach leaders on employee performance, engagement, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning to strengthen leadership capability and business performance.Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives to build and sustain a capable workforce.Develop and deliver training that strengthens leadership capability, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.Lead, coach, and develop Human Resources team members while promoting accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Employee Relations & ComplianceLead employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation, while minimizing organizational risk.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.Manage Human Resources records, reporting, audits, and compliance documentation to support accurate and effective Human Resources operations.Support food safety, SQF, GMP, and applicable regulatory compliance requirements.Workforce Analytics & Organizational EffectivenessAnalyze workforce data and Human Resources metrics to identify trends, evaluate organizational needs, and recommend solutions that improve business performance.Support leadership development, employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.Manage external Human Resources vendors and service providers as needed to support business requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.6+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner experience.Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, distribution, or industrial environments.Previous experience leading, coaching, and developing direct reports.Experience managing employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and organizational development initiatives.Experience interpreting and applying employment laws and HR policies.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with business objectives.Excellent employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to work flexible hours during critical business periods.Ability to travel occasionally for business initiatives and special projects.CompetenciesBuilds Effective Teams - Develops, coaches, and inspires individuals while creating an engaged, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.Business Insight - Applies business, financial, and organizational knowledge to align talent strategies with operational objectives and drive business performance.Communicates Effectively - Communicates clearly, confidently, and professionally while building trust and influencing leaders and employees at all organizational levels.Manages Complexity - Successfully navigates changing business priorities, organizational challenges, and complex employee relations matters with sound judgment and professionalism.Decision Quality - Uses data, business insight, and employment law knowledge to make timely, objective, and well-informed decisions.Drives Results - Takes ownership of HR initiatives, executes strategic priorities, and delivers measurable business and organizational outcomes.
