Shape the future of students as an English Language Arts educator in a vibrant school community located near Napoleonville, LA. This full-time contract opportunity runs through May 2027 and will allow you to engage learners in guiding their academic and personal growth. As an onsite ELA teacher, your dedication will support a diverse group of students and foster a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Louisiana Teaching License with all required endorsements
  • Proven success teaching General Education ELA
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
  • Passion for inspiring learners from various backgrounds
  • Willingness to work exclusively onsite and collaborate with fellow staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide innovative and effective ELA instruction to general education students
  • Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Assess student progress, adapt teaching methods, and foster positive classroom relationships
  • Participate in school initiatives, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain accurate records and timely communication with families and administration

Contract Details:

  • 37.5 hours per week in a supportive, collaborative educational setting
  • Contract term from ASAP through May 25, 2027
  • Onsite presence required; no remote or virtual options
  • Only one position available; this is a potential opening with final details expected July 2026
