North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join their team at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers, Florida. This non-call taking position offers the opportunity to work in a large, 624-bed hospital that houses the only Level II Trauma Center between Bradenton and Miami. Myers, Florida Largest hospital in the Lee Health system Houses the only Level II Trauma Center between Bradenton and Miami 624-bed hospital with 22 Operating Rooms Annual anesthesia volume is nearly 20,000 cases Work together in a care team model Responsibilities Case assignments: General, Endo, Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, GYN, Urology, Radiology, ENT Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Compensation Salary: $430K Sign on Incentive: $50K Benefits Generous paid time off Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, xmvmafu dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) with company match Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Full Time, Non-Call Taking Requirements M.D./D.O.
