Join us!THE ROLEThe Food and Beverage Support plays a key role in supporting daily concession operations by managing inventory, assisting with product receiving and storage, and maintaining foodservice equipment. This position requires prior experience in a food service setting and a commitment to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork.This is a part-time, event-based position scheduled based on the arena’s event calendar.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practicesMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and concession areasTransfer products before and during events, ensuring proper handling and storageSet up and dismantle portable concession stationsAssist with monthly inventory tracking and documentationClean and maintain foodservice equipment (e.g., fryers, grills)Deliver food orders to suites during eventsPerform other duties as assigned to support department operationsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThere are no supervisory responsibilities in this role.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Must be 18 years or older.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEMust be at least 18 years of age.High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous customer service experience is preferred.Experience working in event venues, arenas, or guest services is a plus.SKILLS AND ABILITIESBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documentsStrong teamwork and communication skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysCOMPENSATIONCompetitive hourly pay.WORKING CONDITIONSLocation: SNHU Arena- Manchester, NHPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to stand for extended periods and move throughout the facilityMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularlyWork may occur indoors or outdoors depending on event needsMust be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions via radioNOTE:The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
