Windows File and Print Server AdminRate: $ 37/ hour Location: Elkton, Maryland 21921- F2F RequiredResponsibilities Include:Network File Services (scoped to United States locations only):Creating new shared foldersModifying security on existing shared foldersRenaming existing shared foldersMoving existing shared foldersDeleting existing shared foldersFirst level support for locating missing folders or files (move to proper location, restore from previous versions, etc.)Second level support for restoring missing folder or files (utilizing backup & recovery tool)Data migration planning and execution as necessaryData Access Governance Administration (StealthBits)Managing folder ownershipManaging entitlement reviewsFollow-up on file system reportsOpen AccessDirect PermissionsBroken InheritanceActivityFollow-up on Active Directory reportsComputersGroupsUsersIntra-region user moves (example - moving P: drive for moves between PHX and FLG)Network Print Services (scoped to all Gore locations globally):Creating new network printers (including DNS/IPAM work)Modifying existing network printersDeleting existing network printersMaintaining printer drives (update versions, etc.)Monitoring printers with errorsPrint server administrationOwnership of Printer Directory (proprietary web-application for printer location and installation)Cleanup/standardization of printer properties/informationSupport & Administration of Secure Printing SolutionCoordinating installation on new devicesCoordinating hardware support as necessaryVersion upgradesLicensing/RenewalsConfigurationReportingThird-level supportSupport & Administration of Multi-Function Printer/CopiersDevice ConfigurationSecurityLDAP Directory AccessScan to EmailScan to NetworkPrint SettingsNetwork & Protocol ConfigurationMaintenance of Device Configuration TemplatesMaintenance of Device FirmwareThird-level supportProvide backup support for Server Administrator contractorQualifications:3 to 5 years of experience supporting Windows file services and permissions (NTFS permissions and Windows file sharing)3 to 5 years of experience supporting Windows Distributed File Systems (Client)3 to 5 years of experience supporting Windows print servers and print queues3 to 5 years administering Microsoft Active DirectoryExperience performing Windows Server administrationExperience supporting VMware VSphere InfrastructureExperience administering DNS in a Windows or IPAM environmentExperience supporting network printers and multi-function printer/copiersExperience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) arraysExperience supporting enterprise applications, including:Configuring the applicationWorking with third-party supportInstalling version upgradesMaintaining licensing & renewalsReportingInterfacing with internal teams on the use of the applicationExperience working with global teams across time zones and languagesMust be able to work some weekends in the support of maintenance activities
