Lease and Financing Specialist - German speaking (M/F/D)

To address changing customer buying patterns from capex towards leasing and rentals, Agilent Financial Solutions (AFS) is growing a team of lease and financing specialists in EMEA to structure payment plans for customers. The Lease & Financing Specialist enhances the customer experience by delivering tailored financing solutions, generating opportunities through direct customer engagement and field sales, providing training, attending trade shows, and promoting AFS through targeted marketing initiatives. The role works closely with the sales team to drive incremental business, expand adoption of AFS, and maximize commercial opportunities. Responsibilities Structure lease and financing proposals for Agilent’s customers in the Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, and England region. Engage directly with customers and field sales to generate opportunities and promote Agilent Financial Solutions. Provide training and participate in trade shows and marketing initiatives to raise awareness of AFS. Collaborate with the sales team to drive incremental business and maximize commercial opportunities. Qualifications Must-have Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. MBA or Certified Lease & Finance Professional (preferred). 5+ years’ experience in equipment leasing/structured finance, program development, financial services, and sales/originations. Proven ability to structure lease and financing proposals. Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including IFRS and tax accounting. Strong commercial acumen with expertise in financial solutions and growth strategy execution. Excellent relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills. Fluent in German and English (required); Italian is a plus. Skills Required: Excellent interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, and presentation), and negotiation skills. Strong customer relationship management and ability to assess client needs. Strong analytical, financial analysis, and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional working skills. Knowledge of the leasing market in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, and the UK is an advantage.
