Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound tests including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts assessments
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly discussing each procedure to alleviate anxiety
• Work intimately with radiologists and referring providers to ensure top-tier diagnostic imaging quality
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Meticulously record procedures and ensure patient documents are accurate within our electronic medical records
• Stay updated on new techniques and best practices in ultrasound technology

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area
• Preference for candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
