Enterprise Vendor Program Manager III The Enterprise Vendor Program Manager III is a senior subject matter expert who leads the design and implementation of the global vendor management strategy. This position takes a lead role in developing and refining the governance programs that enable business teams to manage vendors effectively. The Program Manager III will drive initiatives across all five pillars of the vendor lifecycle—Risk, Performance, Sustainability & Diversity, Innovation & Automation, and Training—acting as a strategic advisor to the business and ensuring the frameworks, tools, and processes deliver maximum value and mitigate critical risks. Essential Functions Vendor Risk Management: Leads the design and continuous improvement of the enterprise vendor risk framework. Acts as a key advisor to business teams on the adoption of risk assessment tools and compliance management processes. Vendor Performance Management: Drives the evolution of the vendor performance management framework. Designs and enhances standardized toolkits (KPI scorecards, QBR agendas) to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business. Sustainability and Diversity: Leads the strategic integration of corporate sustainability and diversity goals within the vendor lifecycle, developing innovative frameworks for Sourcing and Business teams to drive meaningful impact. Innovation and Automation: Drives the identification and implementation of key technologies (e.g., AI, advanced automation) to strategically enhance and simplify vendor management processes, increasing enterprise-wide visibility and efficiency. Training and Enablement: Leads the development of the overall training and enablement strategy. Designs comprehensive training programs and acts as a mentor to junior team members and business stakeholders on vendor management best practices. Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence: Acts as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, using influence to drive the adoption and maturation of the enterprise vendor management program across the organization. Process Improvement: Owns and drives significant process improvement roadmaps for the vendor management framework, delivering measurable gains in governance, quality, and efficiency. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field. Minimum Experience Six (6) years of work experience in program/project management, business process design, vendor management governance, or business enablement. Proven experience leading the rollout of enterprise-wide processes, training, or tools is required. Prior exposure to procurement, sourcing, or supply chain environments is highly preferred. An advanced degree may offset some of the experience requirement. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Program & Process Enablement: Expert ability to design and implement complex, user-friendly frameworks and playbooks that drive adoption across a large enterprise. Change Management & Training: Advanced skills in translating complex governance into strategic enablement programs and guiding senior stakeholders through significant process changes. Strategic Influence: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams and senior leaders without direct authority. Analytical & Tool Aptitude: Deep understanding of how technology and reporting tools (like Power BI, Coupa, or risk platforms) can be leveraged to drive strategic process improvements for the business. Preferred Qualifications: This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, Plano or Pittsburgh. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week. Pay Transparency: This position is a salary grade E27. Pay: MEM range($7,488.36/mo - $12,355.79/mo), Plano range($7,882.48/mo - $13,006.09/mo), Pittsburgh range($7,882.48/mo - $13,006.09/mo).
