Accounting Assistant

Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their Finance team and provide support across accounting, administrative, and financial operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting a variety of finance functions. Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Department. Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing. Support routine accounting functions, reconciliations, data entry, and financial reporting. Assist with General Ledger activities as assigned. Maintain accurate and confidential financial records. Prepare and format monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentation materials. Compile supporting schedules and documentation for management reporting. Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed. Maintain organized departmental records and documentation. Assist with Finance Department projects and process improvements. Provide occasional operational support, including shipping or packaging products. Learn company systems and processes and assist across the organization as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 1-3+ years of accounting experience. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy. Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
