Senior SAP TM Functional Consultant S/4HANA Upgrade
Location: 100% Remote
Hours: 40 hours/week Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior SAP TM Functional Consultant to support an SAP S/4HANA 2025 upgrade , with a strong focus on Transportation Management. The consultant will assess upgrade impacts, validate logistics processes, perform functional testing and configuration, troubleshoot defects, and help ensure uninterrupted shipping and transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assess SAP TM impacts from the S/4HANA 2025 upgrade , including SAP Release Notes and Simplification Items.
- Perform functional configuration, integration testing, UAT, and end-to-end process validation.
- Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis.
- Support freight planning, carrier selection, tendering, charge management, and settlement processes.
- Support system retrofits, dual maintenance, deployment, and upgrade activities.
- Work with integration, application development, testing, business process, and change management teams.
- 5+ years of SAP TM experience with hands-on functional expertise.
- 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA upgrade experience.
- Experience with SAP TM Embedded/Decentralized , SAP EWM, MM, and SD.
- Knowledge of SAP EDI, IDocs, ESR, and CIF .
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Readiness Check, and/or Focused Build .
- Strong experience with Simplification Items, upgrade impact assessment, testing, defect management, and root cause analysis .
- Strong understanding of O2C, P2P, and transportation/logistics processes .
- Experience with freight planning, tendering, carrier selection, charge management, and settlement .
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
Note: This is a functional role; coding is not required.
Pay rate: $70/hr/W2
