2nd Shift CNC Lathe Operator / Setup Technician

Location: West Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator / Setup Technician to join our team in West Phoenix. Our company manufactures precision metal components for a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, industrial, and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues as needed.
• Operate and manage one CNC lathe machine, with the ability to oversee two machines during higher production volumes.
• Maintain production standards while ensuring quality requirements are met.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC Lathe setup and operation experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to producing quality work with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
