Bookkeeper

Job Summary A growing oil and gas company in Downtown Shreveport, LA seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to join its accounting team on a full-time, direct-hire basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and supporting specialized oil and gas accounting functions such as revenue accounting and Joint Interest Billing. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records, bookkeeping entries, and accounting transactions. Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor invoices, and payments. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, vendor balances, and general ledger accounts. Assist with revenue accounting, Joint Interest Billing, journal entries, and month-end close processes. Prepare and review financial reports for accuracy and support audit documentation requests. Use accounting software and Excel to maintain records, generate reports, and support accounting operations. Compensation and Benefits $45,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity. Health care benefit options available. Convenient Downtown Shreveport, LA location.
