This remote position affords flexibility while allowing you to work closely with our team members and clients via digital communication platforms. As a member of our detox center team, you will play an essential role in facilitating the healing and recovery processes for clients in need. While most of your work will be conducted remotely, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for special outreach programs and community events.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs, identifying critical areas for intervention.

• Develop and implement tailored service plans that set clear objectives and track clients’ progress toward achieving their goals.

• Actively advocate for clients' rights and their access to essential resources, promoting social justice causes relevant to their situations.

• Participate in the development and evaluation of programs and services, contributing insights for grant reporting and organizational improvement.

• Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance and expand available services, striving for community-centered solutions.

• Engage in team meetings and training sessions, keeping abreast of best practices and approaches in social work and community outreach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily consists of individuals in need of detoxification services, who often face multifaceted issues including addiction, trauma, and socioeconomic challenges. You will become a trusted advocate and resource for these individuals and their families as they navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Proficient understanding and application of trauma-informed care principles, advocacy processes, and social justice issues.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to empathize and connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases systematically and efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a nonprofit organization or healthcare setting, particularly with populations facing addiction and mental health issues, is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with community resources and social services available in the Reading, PA area to assist clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
