Human Resources Manager

Proactive, hands-on HR leader responsible for managing all day-to-day HR operations, supporting a mid-sized regional organization, and improving processes across the organization. Oversees one HR Generalist and serves as the primary HR point of contact, ensuring a compliant, consistent, and people-first employee experience. Location: Richmond, VA | Salary: $90,000.00–$105,000.00 Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting and develop effective sourcing and interview processes. Streamline HR operations, policies, documentation, and compliance practices. Provide employee relations support, coaching, conflict resolution, and FMLA/leave administration. Oversee benefits, payroll, and vendor relationships; act as escalation point for HR issues. Drive onboarding/offboarding and help enhance the overall employee lifecycle. What You Bring 5+ years of progressive HR experience; financial services preferred. Strong HR operations background with comfort “wearing many hats” in a small team. Solid knowledge of FMLA and compliance for 50+ employee organizations. Approachable communicator with strong judgment, organization, and process‑improvement mindset.
