Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students onsite for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the chance to support diverse learners from August 2026 to May 2027, with a weekly schedule of 30 to 32.5 hours. This role is ideal for SLPs with a passion for making a difference in educational settings and the flexibility to work with varying caseloads and grade levels.
Desired qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology state license and educator certification (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Solid background in school-based SLP roles
- Flexible and adaptable to caseload and grade level assignments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services as determined by students’ IEPs or 504 plans
- Assessing, diagnosing, and supporting students with communication disorders
- Developing tailored treatment plans and setting measurable goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams for student success
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and state policies
- Flexibly meeting the needs of a varied caseload as assignments are determined
