A&K Elite Real Estate Services is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional Junior Property Manager to join our growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a NYS-licensed real estate professional looking to expand their experience beyond leasing and develop a career in property management. The position will be involved in the full resident lifecycle, from leasing and move-in through renewals, tenant relations, collections, compliance, and move-out.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to leasing inquiries, conduct showings, and follow up with prospective tenantsAssist with applications, lease preparation, move-ins, and leasing documentationServe as a primary point of contact for residents and provide timely, professional communicationProcess lease renewals and follow up on upcoming expirationsMonitor tenant balances and communicate regarding delinquent accountsPrepare and process 5-Day Notices, 14-Day Rent Demands, and other required noticesAddress and document lease violations, resident complaints, and compliance mattersProcess move-out notices and communicate move-out requirements to residentsConduct or assist with move-out inspections and documentationWork closely with the Maintenance Coordinator on unit turnovers and upcoming vacanciesMaintain accurate resident records and documentation within the property management systemParticipate in property inspections and walkthroughsWork collaboratively with leasing, maintenance, accounting, and managementQualificationsActive New York State Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License REQUIREDProperty management, leasing, or residential real estate experience preferredAppFolio or similar property management software experience preferredStrong communication, organization, and follow-up skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable handling tenant concerns, collections, and difficult conversations professionallyWorking knowledge of Fair Housing and NY landlord-tenant practices preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredGrowth OpportunityThis position is designed for someone who wants to build a career in property management.
