Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate the complexity, frequency, and severity of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring individualized care.

• Collaborate with clients to craft tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations, regularly reviewing and adjusting these plans based on progress.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly focusing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting your approach to best fit clients.

• Provide education and supportive resources to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders, treatment pathways, and effective self-care practices.

• Continuously monitor the individual progress of clients, tracking outcomes, and adapting treatment plans proactively to maximize effectiveness.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and clinical guidelines to inform and enhance your therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic records of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments, adhering to all legal and ethical protocols.

• Engage in ongoing learning through case consultations, team meetings, and workshops to refine your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mood disorder treatments.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders and addressing client mental health needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing various mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and resilience. Your capacity to build rapport and trust will be essential in fostering therapeutic relationships that empower clients in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• Demonstrated mastery of evidence-based treatment modalities, especially CBT and DBT, with a robust understanding of their application.

• A thorough knowledge of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals.

• A proven track record of successful treatment outcomes with mood disorders.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding towards clients from various backgrounds.
