Business Sales Account Manager

What you’ll be doing… Identify, develop and qualify leads within your territory to create additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques. Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base. Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about innovative business solutions. Proactively build and maintain relationships with key decision makers. Present and create multi‑product solution opportunities effectively. Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and software solutions such as Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms. Track and report progress using sales‑force automation tools. What we’re looking for… You’re a self‑motivated person who thrives on crafting the right solution to solve client problems and enjoys explaining how complex technology can solve everyday business challenges. Cold‑calling feels like a sport to you, and you take the initiative to close deals. You act with integrity and believe the team wins when everyone wins. Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military service. Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation. Willingness to work in a mobile model with up to ~50% travel within the assigned geographic sales territory. Valid driver’s license. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or certifications/college courses. Two or more years of B2B or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and cold‑calling. Experience in technology sales, SaaS, CRM/SalesForce or other client‑management tools, social media. Strong presentation skills face‑to‑face and virtually. Experience building and maintaining relationships at all client levels. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to achieve goals. Ability to implement feedback and tailor an approach for success. Where you’ll be working In a mobile role, you will primarily work from customers or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in‑person training and meetings. Additional incentives and benefits are available depending on role and location. The position offers a base salary plus an unlimited commission structure with potential to exceed the advertised range. Current full‑time salary range: $53,000 – $92,000.
